When someone has been at work for a while they can have a collection of different pension plans, life policies, some savings, a mortgage and, perhaps, a family.  What they probably don't have is much idea as to how all these fit together and how, by being just a little smarter with their money and planning better, they can ensure a brighter financial future.

We know that most people have good intentions when it comes to financial planning but let's face it, often life's a bit too short and then there's the issue of cost - no-one wants to pay loads of commission or fees just to find out some time down the line they've got a third rate product.  So what's the most common result?  Doing nothing and hoping for the best.

We've been advising clients for over 20 years and we know how difficult it is for people to get it right on their own.  Tax implications, product selection, varying policy terms, identifying the proper amount of provision for a particular priority - all are real issues.  Our Routeplanner service is about strategic financial planning not financial products.  For a total one-off cost of £240, you will come away from this two-hour meeting at our offices with a clear idea of your financial position, your financial objectives and the options available to you to meet those goals.  We will also review any existing plans with you to assess their suitability.

During the meeting we will NOT attempt to sell you something, ask you to commit to further services or ask you to pay more.  We will help you to build a picture of your financial position, explore your financial goals, assess your risk profile and discuss strategies to help you meet these objectives. 

Your commitment - to prepare for the meeting as asked in order to get the most from our time together (and, of course, to pay the fee).  There is no requirement for you to use our other services.

Our commitment - We will not advise you to buy, sell or switch a financial product.  We will highlight any area where your existing planning falls short and may suggest more efficient alternative strategies.  Any notes taken by us during the meeting will be destroyed if you do not ask us to keep them for future reference.  We do not pass your information to third parties.  We will not contact you in the future for marketing purposes.
